CHAMELEON is the official Hungarian entry for the upcoming Academy AwardsThe members of the Committee were representatives of the following Hungarian professional organizations:

András Muhi – Hungarian Independent Producers Association,
Tamás S. Zákonyi – Hungarian Producers Association,
Emil Novák (HSC) – Hungarian Society of Cinematographers,
András Monory-Mész – Hungarian Directors’ Guild.
CHAMELEON, the third feature by UCLA graduated Krisztina Goda (Just Sex and Nothing Else 2005, Children of Glory 2006) was premiered in Hungary this autumn and won the Audience Prize of the 40th Hungarian Film Week in February. The international premiere is hosted by the ongoing Shanghai IFF’ Jin Jeu Award competition. International sales and festivals are handled by HungariCom.
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences will announce the nominations – the five features from among the national entries – to compete for the Oscar statuette in the category of Best Foreign Language Film of the Year on 7th February.
The 82nd Annual Academy Awards Presentation will be held on March 7th, 2010 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.
